Gov't to launch single digital hub for public services as more systems go online

Though various government agencies have already rolled out digital platforms offering services online, the government intends to bring them all together under one roof.

The single hub for all Guyanese government services will be known as the MyGuyana Citizen App, according to the recently released 2026 mid-year report.

The report also noted that over 70 public services are already available online — eleven of which were deployed in the first half of 2026. These include Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) services, the Local Content registration portal, and the Citizen Connect app to report issues.

"In the first half of 2026, digital solutions allowed citizens to access services and resources, make appointments, submit applications, report issues and engage with agencies in a more convenient manner," the mid-year report stated, adding that the single digital hub is expected to be available before the end of the year.

That vision is now taking shape. Last year, President Dr. Irfaan Ali laid out an ambitious goal: that government services would be fully digitised in 2026.

"Digital Guyana is our commitment to building a modern state where technology makes public services faster, more accessible and more responsive," he said then.
